AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended continuously. Runway 1L CLOSED to departing Trijet aircraft with wingspan greater than 155´. Personnel and equipment working approach end of runway 28L, Runway 28R and Runway 19L indefinite. Flocks of birds feeding along shoreline adjacent to airport, on occasions fly across various parts of airport. Due to obstructed vision, SFO tower is able to provide only limited airport traffic control service on Taxiway A between gates 88 and 89. Tower personnel are unable to determine whether this area is clear of traffic or obstructions. Due to obstructed vision, the tower is unable to determine if aircraft pulling into gate F11 are at the hook–up spot or in the gate. Due to obstructed vision, SFO tower is able to provides only limited airport traffic control service on Taxiway A between gates F20 and F21. Runway 10 preferred runway between 0900–1400Z‡ weather and flight conditions permitting. Airport Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC) in use. Operate transponders with altitude reporting mode and ADS–B (if equipped) enabled on all airport surfaces. Simultaneous operations in effect all runways. Airline pilots shall strictly follow the painted nose gear lines and no oversteering adjustment is permitted. All outbound Taxiway Zulu 2 heavy aircraft with a wingspan of 171 foot or greater under power prohibited from entering westbound Taxiway Zulu. Taxiway S between Taxiway Z and Taxiway S2 closed to aircraft with wingspan over 215 foot. Runway status lights in operation. Landing fee. Flight Notification Service (ADCUS) available.
