AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended continuously. Airport closed to non–powered aircraft except in emergency. Migratory and wintering flocks of large waterfowl on and in the vicinity of airport. Heavy seagull activity September–April, expect high number of birds year round, check local advisories. Runway 28R perimeter road at 200´ from runway threshold and 408´ right from runway extended centerline. Uncontrolled traffic at Pearson Field Vancouver WA, 3 NM west of Runway 10L threshold on extended centerline. Runway 21 closed to Height Group IV aircraft with cockpit to wheel height greater than 22´. Runway 28R 60´ levee road located approximately parallel to runway at 200´ from threshold and 507´ rt from runway extended centerline. Taxiway W closed to aircraft with wingspan greater than 118 foot unless under tow. Taxiway K between Taxiway A5 and Taxiway V closed to aircraft wingspan more than 168 foot. Taxiway A3 between Taxiway A and the GA ramp closed to aircraft with wingspan greater than 135 feet unless under tow. At the west end arm/dearm area on Taxiway C no aircraft of any type may taxi past the arm/dearm area while it is being used. Aircraft authorized to utilize the northwest ramp will be towed to/from this ramp. Area of Taxiway T between M and E3 not visible from tower. Taxiway T between exits B5 and B6 closed to aircraft with wingspan greater than 118 foot. Taxiway C3 closed to aircraft with wingspan equal to or greater than 79 foot. Taxiway V closed to aircraft with wingspan greater than 168 foot. Aircraft with wingspan greater than 118 foot prohibited from turning WB onto Taxiway A from Taxiway V unless under tow. Aircraft with wingspan greater than 118´ are prohibited from turning eastbound on Taxiway C from southwestbound on Taxiway F unless under tow. Taxiway C between Taxiway C6 and Taxiway C8 closed to aircraft with wingspan greater than 200´. Taxiway K between Taxiway V and Taxiway A4 closed to aircraft wingspan more than 118 foot. 180º turns by aircraft weighing in excess of 12,500 lbs prohibited on Runway 10L–28R, Runway 03–21 and all taxiways. PDX has facility constraints that limit its ability to accommodate diverted flights and maintain the airport safe operation during irregular operations. Aircraft operations should contact the airport duty manager at (503) 460–4236 to coordinate diverted flights except in the case of a declared in–flight emergency. Landing fee. Commercial aircraft and operations of aircraft with an FAA certified max gross landing weight that exceeds 10,000 lbs are required to pay a landing fee. Possible Runway 28L glideslope fluctuation prior to addum when weather is greater than 800/2. Airport Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC) in use. MILITARY REMARKS: ANG See Flight Information Publication AP/1 for Supplementary Airport Information. Hazardous bird condition exist. Phase I May–October, Phase II November–April. Current bird watch condition are not reported on ATIS. Oregon ANG East ramp sun shade obstruction lights out of service. Prior Permission Required/Official Business Only. Base operations operating 1500–2300Z‡ Monday–Friday except holiday, DSN 638–4390, C503–335–4390. Contact Base operations 15 mins prior to landing and after departing on 281.2. Transient quarters not available. CAUTION: Obstruction lighting is not Night vision devices compatible. Night vision devices not authorized while airborne in the vicinity of airfield. Nonstandard yellow park spot designators and equipment tool box location painted on ramp, white RWR boxes and white wingtip lines on military taxiway.
