AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended 1600–0800Z. Extensive large and small bird activity in the vicinity of runways including the nene goose. Stadium flood lights 125´ AGL/282´ MSL 2400´ SW from Runway 03 threshold. Prior Permission Required for parking all transient aircraft, call airport operations control (808) 651–6255; fax (808) 241–3939 between 1700Z and 0230Z; other times, call (808) 274–3814. Military/civilian aircraft carrying munitions/HAZMAT must coordinate itinerary no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. Aircraft needing engine runups for other than normal start–up and taxi out are required to coordinate these runups with operations at 808–651–6255. Normal runup area is on Taxiway Alpha north of Taxiway B and Alpha intersection. Aircraft orientation is dependent on wind and tower approval. Power setting will not cause damage to lights and signs, if run may cause damage an alternate location will be selected. Runway 17–35 distance remaining signs left side of Runway 35. 405 foot of Runway 17–35 500 foot south of Taxiway D and Runway 17–35 intersection not visible from Air traffic control tower. Due to non-visibility tower unable to provide air traffic control service between aircraft and/or vehicles on Taxiway B from 220´ to 500´ South of Taxiway D. Traffic departing and entering movement areas contact tower. Intersection departures from Taxiway D on Runway 17–35 not authorized. ARFF available 24 hours. 100 octane fuel available 1900–0300Z.
