AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended continuously. Runway 06L--24R less than 1000’ overrun south end & 450’ overrun north end. Runway 06 and Runway 24 wind cone Nonstandard. Lighted tower 780´ 1.3 NM east-northeast of Runway 24L threshold. Rising terrain 75´ from Runway 24L threshold 140´ east of centerline extended +8´. Departing VFR aircraft maintain runway heading until past departure end of runway and reaching 1000´ AGL; right pattern 24L/R do not exceed 1500´ AGL in traffic pattern. Class III aircraft are prohibited from making any turns onto or off Taxiway Golf (south) while utilizing Taxiway Echo. The first 500’ of the left shoulder of Runway 24L is not visible from the tower. Pilots are advised to caution for any presence of wildlife in that area. For taxiing B747-8 aircraft on Taxiway K fronting the aircraft parking apron from Gates 5-16 at the main terminal, max taxiing speed shall be no more than 15 mph. For the B747-8, during Runway 24L and 24R operations and due to jet blast effects at Gate 14, 16 and 18, the B747-8 will be towed from Gate 4 on Taxiway K to Taxiway J with the aircraft positioned on Taxiway J facing toward Runway 24R. During taxiing of the B747-8 between Gates 5-16, all vehicle shall yield and remain clear of the vehicle traffic pattern and are restricted to a max height of 14’. For all arrivals, the B747-8 airline will tow the aircraft into Gates 4 or 18 from Taxiway K and airline to provide wing-walkers as the aircraft is being towed into Gates 4 or 18. ADG-VI airplanes may depart on Runway 06L and Runway 24R with aircraft on parallel Taxiway K as long as no ADG-VI aircraft occupies the parallel taxiway beyond 1500’ of the point of takeoff roll.
