Tower attended 1100–0200Z‡. Civilian ramp attended Monday–Friday 1300–0200Z‡, Saturday–Sunday 1300–2200Z‡. For general aviation attendance after hours and holidays call 252–562–2472 or contact nos posted on terminal door. 100LL fuel 24 hour credit card service available. Intermittent tethered balloon operations 3 NM SE; daylight hours at 5000 foot. Runway and taxiway surface condition not monitored weekends or Monday–Friday between 2000Z–1200Z. All Department of War turbojet aircraft must obtain prior permission from air station operations prior to request airport familiarization approaches. All Department of War turbojet aircraft full stop only, practice approaches and VFR touch–and–gos prohibited. Coast Guard complex has numerous buildings within the building restriction lines. Seasonal low flying Agriculture aircraft based in the local area. No line–of–sight between runway ends. Search and Rescue may require 24 hour tower staff 0200–1300Z‡, transmit intentions in the blind on 120.5. Facilities and ramps north of Runway 10–28 restricted to official CG business only. All aircraft destined for CG Air Station contact Elizabeth City Air on 345.0, 10 minimum prior to landing. All aircraft destined for CG ALC contact ALC Duty Officer (C252–333–5389) No Later Than 24hrs for Prior Permission Required and contact Flight Operations 123.1 prior to landing. Runway 10–28 increased potential for hydroplaning due to rubber deposits, centerline obstruction. Runway 07 and 25 markings faded.

DLA military fueling contract service available on general aviation ramp, US Government aircard accepted, no delay for fuel. MISC Airfield mowing season April–October. Expect increased bird activity in vicinity of mowers operating on airfield. Portions of ALC park ramp not visible from tower. Non–frangible high voltage boxes located on S edge of ALC ramp.
