NOISE: Non–standard traffic patterns for Runway 04 prohibited due to noise sensitive area southwest of the airport.
AIRPORT REMARKS: Attended 1200–0400Z‡. Local operations suspended Monday–Saturday 0400–1200Z‡ and 0400Z‡ Saturday–1500Z‡ Sunday. Deer and birds on and in the vicinity of airport. Touch and go landings limited to based aircraft only. TPA for large and turbojet aircraft 1699(1527), light aircraft 1199(1027). Fixed wing VFR aircraft departures: Runway 04–fly runway heading for 1 mile, then turn crosswind if remaining in the traffic pattern. If departing the traffic pattern, continue on runway heading until reaching traffic pattern altitude. Fixed wing VFR aircraft departures: Runway 10–fly heading 080 degree at runway departures end. Upon reaching 900 foot MSL, turn crosswind if remaining in the traffic pattern; if departing the traffic pattern, continue on heading 080 degree until reaching traffic pattern altitude. Fixed wing VFR aircraft departures: Runway 22 fly runway heading until reaching 900 foot MSL then turn crosswind if remaining in the traffic pattern. If departing the traffic pattern, continue on runway heading until reaching traffic pattern altitude. Fixed wing VFR aircraft departures: Runway 28 fly runway heading for 1 mile then turn crosswind if remaining in the traffic pattern. If departing the traffic pattern, continue on runway heading until reaching traffic pattern altitude. Rotocraft: If possible, cross the airport boundary at or above 700 foot MSL. Pilots be alert–the Morristown ILS and GPS Runway 23 approaches transit Essex Co Airport Class D airspace. Traffic passes two mile west of the airport descending through 2000 foot MSL. Engine run–ups on Taxiway N at approach end of runway 28 shd be conducted to limit effect to aircraft parked on RN Ramp. Landing fee for all transient aircraft.
